Rick Alves is hard at work on the pages of Sidekick For Hire #3 as I post this. I was hoping to get another issue done this year, but due to unforeseen circumstances *cough* COVID-19 *cough*, it most likely will be released early 2021. Luckily, I’ve already talked to Rick, and we will be working on #4 right after #3, so there is less of a wait between issues.
While Rick works on his pages, I’m continually refining issues 3 and 4 since both have been written. I’m also working on the final chapter with Sidekick For Hire #5. I’ve had the outline of the entire 5 issue story mapped out since the beginning, but I would be a fool not update or edit a few things here and there. It’s all so exciting because I never thought 2 years that I would get this close to making a whole series of comics, let alone 1 comic book.
That’s an update on all the newer issues we are working on. The first two issues of Sidekick For Hire are still available through COMIXOLOGY and few comic book stores in the north Georgia area.
In fact, I will be a guest on the Draw Drink’n Podcast this coming up Tuesday, October 27th, to promote our little indie comic book. Come hang out and watch 3 talented artists and a passable writer talk about all things comic books!
Sorry to say I don’t have blonde hair anymore, but it should still be fun! Here are the links to their site to see some of the other interviews they’ve done! YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/DrawDrinkn
Feel free to contact me with questions about my comic or anything comic book related by email. I try to respond within 24 hours to everyone! I will post something early next month about the next Kickstarter and a few other fun things I’m working on.
Until then, stay safe and read more comic books!
