This is where is all starts for me. With my comic, Sidekick For Hire, and a website for all I want to say, but can’t in 280 characters. This will be my way of documenting and sharing my journey in the comic book/writing industry.
It’s funny, I actually got this idea from Jim Zub. His website has been so informative on how to make a comic and what I should learn while on this journey. I’m nowhere near the level he is at, but I figured if I share my experiences like he has and it helps one other person, it would be worth it. If it doesn’t help anyone else, that’s fine too. After all, this website was made for me. My name is literally on it.
Regardless if you like these blog posts or not, I hope you enjoy the comics I am going to make. Starting with Sidekick For Hire. The first 10 pages is on this very website for FREE! My collaborators and I put in so much work into this story. I could not be more proud of how it came out.
Speaking of collaborators, I want to share who they are and how thankful I am. Starting with Rick Alves, who has been extremely wonderful to work with and I’m happy I get to be one of the first people to do so before he becomes a superstar in the comic industry. Then Veronica Saraceno, who has brought a new life and tone to the comic that I didn’t think was possible before. Her work should be praised with absolute adoration, in my opinion. Finally Toben Racicot, who brought a sense of professionalism to this indie comic that I could not be more appreciative for.
So why not check out the comic if you are already on the site? Hopefully, in the future I will be able to post more content and comics on this site.
Until then, Read More Comics!
